Great Barrington Records 11 Property Deeds From July 31 To Aug. 29
Eleven property deeds were recorded in Great Barrington from July 31 to Aug. 29, but only three included a disclosed sale price. Those three sales ranged from $100,000 to $250,000, with a median of $210,000. The month's top disclosed sale was 142 Castle St., which sold for $250,000 on Aug. 4, from Louis Juska and Natasha Perlis to Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. Castle Street, State Road and Main Street each recorded two transfers. Bank entities were listed as buyers in three of the 11 deeds, and two transfers involved family trusts. With most sale prices undisclosed, the dataset offers only a partial picture of the local market this period.
