Nine property deeds were recorded in Great Barrington between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only four disclosed a sale price, ranging from $32,099 to $650,000 with a median of $182,500. The month's top sale was 6 Beacon Hill, which sold for $650,000. Two condominium units on Prosperity Way sold for under $40,000 combined to Adams Community Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. Five of the nine transactions involved a bank or mortgage company as buyer or seller, and none of those five carried a disclosed price, limiting visibility into the period's overall pricing trends.
