Great Barrington's Priciest Sale Tops $1.25 Million as Most Prices Await Recording
Great Barrington recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only six carried a sale price as of this report, ranging from $31,473 to $1,250,000 with a median of $332,848 among those six. The month's top sale was 6 Round Hill Road at $1,250,000, sold by Carol Gingles to Julia A. Baier and Jonathan S. Rosen. Pearl Street and Main Street each saw multiple deed transfers, and several deeds listed banks or credit unions as buyer or seller. Prices for the remaining nine transactions had not yet posted to the registry, leaving a partial picture of the period's market activity.
