Great Barrington Records 12 Property Transfers, Only Two With Disclosed Prices

The Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 12 property transfers in Great Barrington between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only two listed a sale price: $500,000 for 205 Long Pond Road and $760,000 for 36 Silver St, the period's highest disclosed sale. Based on those two figures, the median sale price was $630,000. Cottage Street saw two transfers, the only street with more than one recorded deed. Four transfers involved a bank or mortgage servicer as a party, and several others involved trusts. With pricing disclosed in only 2 of 12 deeds, the data does not support a broader read on market tone this period.
